It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Taylor — a very talented euphonium player who played with the band for over 20 years and particularly enjoyed performing with the lively local 5-piece band, 'Brasstissimo'.
From 'Blaydon Races' to 'Grandfather's Clock', Andrew was a remarkable soloist and will be remembered for his seemingly effortless, mellow sound.
He was a much admired player as well as father and husband to current members, Carly & Karen and will be sorely missed.
